The Village of South Range begins its 4th of July Celebration with a flag raising at the Community Building at 8 am. Children's races begin at 11 am at the Range Veterans Memorial Park. A wood carving expo will be held from noon to 2 pm on Main Street. There will be trolley rides from 1 to 4 pm. Sample and tour the Keweenaw Brewing Company from 1 to 5 pm or attend the Carrousel Winery Tasting Extravaganza at 4 pm. The parade is held at 2:30 pm on Main Street, followed by a Cruise-In Classic Car Show. At 4 pm there will be Little League baseball games and more children's games at Veterans Memorial Park. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day at the park. The fireworks begin at dusk at the Range Veterans Memorial Park.
