The McLain State Park Exploring Nature Programs presents "Bat Chat" at 8 pm on Wednesday, July 8 at the park on M-203 north of Hancock.How effective is echolocation? Do bats ever fly into buildings or trees on accidents? Come experience the characteristics of bats at this program!All programs meet at the picnic area's main shelter unless otherwise noted and last approximately one hour. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Programs are free but a motor vehicle permit is required for entry to the park.For more information contact McLain Explorer Program at 906-482-0278.
