The McLain State Park Exploring Nature Programs presents "Agate Hunt" at 4 pm on Tuesday, July 7 at the park on M-203 north of Hancock.Still searching for that prized Lake Superior Agate? Don't know what one looks like? Come find out how to find these precious gems on McLain's two mile beach.All programs meet at the picnic area's main shelter unless otherwise noted and last approximately one hour. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Programs are free but a motor vehicle permit is required for entry to the park.For more information contact McLain Explorer Program at 906-482-0278.
