The McLain State Park Exploring Nature Programs presents "Give A Hoot!" at 8 pm on Wednesday, July 1 at the park on M-203 north of Hancock.These radical birds are one of the best fliers of the night. Come check out owls up close and in-person while learning their special characteristics that allow them to be excellent night hunters!All programs meet at the picnic area's main shelter unless otherwise noted and last approximately one hour. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Programs are free but a motor vehicle permit is required for entry to the park.For more information contact McLain Explorer Program at 906-482-0278.
