The Exploring Nature Programs at McLain State Park on M-203 between Hancock and Calumet presents "Agate Hunt!" at 8 pm on Thursday, July 3.Have you been searching for that prized Lake Superior agate? Don't know exactly what one looks like? Wonder no longer! This program will help you learn just how to search for those invaluable, beautiful agates.The Exploring Nature Programs are free and open to the public but a motor vehicle permit is required for entry to the park. All programs meet at the picnic area's main shelter unless otherwise noted and last approximately one hour. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
