The Exploring Nature Programs at McLain State Park on M-203 between Hancock and Calumet presents "U.P. Big Three" at 6 pm on Thursday, July 3.Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Actually, we will be discussing wolves and deer and bear at this program. Come check out three of Upper Michigan's biggest animals at this program.The Exploring Nature Programs are free and open to the public but a motor vehicle permit is required for entry to the park. All programs meet at the picnic area's main shelter unless otherwise noted and last approximately one hour. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
