Who Wants to be a Naturalist?

July 2, 2008
Hancock

The Exploring Nature Programs at McLain State Park on M-203 between Hancock and Calumet presents "Who Wants to be a Naturalist" at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 2.

Do you think you know more about nature than McLain's Explorer Guide? If not, that's okay! Grab your family and the others around you for a park-wide challenge for the rank as the bet naturalist (or naturalist family) at McLain. Small prizes will be awarded.

The Exploring Nature Programs are free and open to the public but a motor vehicle permit is required for entry to the park. All programs meet at the picnic area's main shelter unless otherwise noted and last approximately one hour. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact the Explorer Program at the park at 906-482-0278.
