French Canadians

The Chassell Heritage Center presents "French Canadians in Michigan's Copper Country" at 7 pm on Thursday, July 3rd at the Chassell Heritage Center at 42373 N. Hancock Street in Chassell.

Respected genealogist Dr. John P. Dulong and author of French Canadians in Michigan will present a program on the immigration of French Canadians to Michigan. His talk and power point presentation will focus on the Copper Country. He is the former president of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan and has family ties to Chassell dating back to the 1880's.

The Summer Thursday Evening programs are presented by the Chassell Historical Organization and are free and open to the public. Donations are welcome.
