Join us for this 42nd annual classic-style-only cross country ski event at the intimate and well-groomed Chassell Ski Trails just off US-41 in Chassell on Sunday, January 18. Events include 5k and 10k fun races, where you guess your finish time and 5 & 10k timed races. There is also a 2k race for junior skiers. Registration begins at 10:30 am at the trail head. More information, mail-in registration forms and electronic registration will be available on the website. There are lots of awards for event winners and door prizes at the awards ceremony. The race is one of the oldest ski races in the U.S. and is sponsored by the Keweenaw Memorial Rehab & Fitness Center and the Chassell Recreation Committee.
